fascinating
I met a couple of guys last night who thought it was fascinating when I told them I taught myself how to build my own website. I think that’s cute.
This is the webstite I built. Www.misscamai.com

This photo was taken in Platinum last year. I’ll be there shortly! I can’t wait. I just hope the sun shines more, and the snow all melts.
My last morning in Bethel, two hours before the sun came out, was an entirely thick and inexpected fog. And to me, it was beautiful!
Here is one thing I absolutely love about Bethel! Everyone is generous, considerate, and absolutely lovely.
This was at the North Star gas station. I didn’t have to get out of my company vehicle or say anything but, “Wow!”, “How are you!?”, “Thank you so much!” “it was so good to see you!” And every other nice thing in between!
Another time the day before this photo was taken, I had a bag of 9 drinks of soda and the bag ripped! A kind gentleman behind me, ran to my bag, picked up my sodas, and said, “Here! Let me help you.”
Two other times while I was in Bethel, did two ladies both at different times, ran up to me from a distance, to give me a hug and welcomed me home. To this moment, I still don’t know their names.
But regardless, the fact is, the people of Bethel still live by the values in yuuyaraq. Whis is “the way of life.” And in those values are prosperity, respect, humility, and kindness.
Here is another snapshot of my two cousins and other dancers in the Delta Discovery during the annual Camai Dance festival in Bethel Alaska. My first cousin is Janis Lake dancing up front in the brown Kuspuk, and my other cousin dancing in the back in the purple kuspuk. This is one of my most favorite times of the year!
